HOCKEY CANADA 100TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR

- Hockey Canada celebrates its 100th anniversary on Dec. 4, 2014.
- It will celebrate 100 years of hockey in communities large and small across the country with the #CenturyTour caravan.
- Caravan activities includes a chance for first-time players to skate on synthetic ice, numerous activities for the kids, fans can tell their hockey story, taking a selfie in a great Canadian hockey moment, experiencing a coaching tool, and much, much more.
- The #CenturyTour caravan runs from July 1, 2014 to May 2015.
- The caravan is an all-ages experience; Hockey Canada’s goal is to celebrate the game with those who are already fans, and demonstrate to those who are not yet involved in hockey how they can engage in the greatest of Canadian pastimes (#CanadasGame).
- The goal is to reach one million Canadians over the 11 months of the tour.
- Sponsors include Heritage Canada, Canadian Tire, Respect Group, Samsung and TELUS.
